Ira received her Doctor of Physical Therapy from the University of California San Francisco in 2011.  Following her passion for helping individuals with neurologic conditions she completed a Neurologic Physical Therapy Residency at the University of Southern California/Rancho Los Amigos Rehabilitaiton Center in 2013.  Since that time she has treated patient in acute rehabilitiation centers, acute care hospitals and outpatient neurologic clinics. 

In 2015 she completed the Emory University Competency Based Vestibular Course and has since helped hundreds of patients improve their dizziness, vertigo, and balance.  

In 2022, Ira opened Keefer Wellness & Physical Therapy to help individuals with neurologic diagnoses in the comfort of their own home achieve their wellness and therapeutic goals.

Ira has taught in the neurologic curriculum at the University of Southern California and University of St. Augustine's Doctor of Physical Therapy programs and presented at conferences on the topics of stroke, concussion, and vestibular therapy.
